Laminated timber from certified species, in profiles from 65 to 80 mm. Made in our own factory, measured to the opening, finished in any RAL or NCS colour

Systems and profiles

Timber that lasts decades

Sustainable material

Natural insulation
Timber insulates by nature, with no thermal break to engineer around
Design freedom
Any RAL or NCS colour, natural tones, arches and curved shapes
Glass and hardware
Saint-Gobain double or triple glazing, Roto or GU hardware with multi-point locking

The right species

A sheltered interior, a south-facing facade and a seafront house each call for a different timber. We recommend the species based on exposure, finish and budget

Pine timber samplePineThe most affordable species, with a soft grain, suited to interior and sheltered openings
Spruce timber sampleSpruceLight and stable with an even grain, excellent for pale lacquered finishes
Meranti timber sampleMerantiA dense tropical hardwood resistant to moisture, the first choice for coastal projects
Oak timber sampleOakNoble and durable, with a pronounced grain for premium clear finishes

Choice of materials

Looks and performance in every component. Laminated timber bonded in three or four layers is more stable than solid wood, reacts less to changes in humidity and allows arches and curves

Solid pine timber for window framesSolid timberSolid pineNo visible joints, long sections free of natural defects, made for clear varnishes that show the grain
Finger-jointed laminated timber for window framesFinger-jointed laminateFinger-jointed pineDefect-free sections joined end to end by finger joints: maximum stability, ideal for opaque finishes

SKLO technical note: above a 3 m opening, or with strong sun exposure, we recommend 80 mm laminate — the dimensional stability is worth the extra cost

Glazing bars

They give a window character and echo classical architecture. We choose the type according to the look you want and the energy performance required

Structural timber glazing barStructuralIn timber, in the colour of the sash, physically dividing the opening into panes
Glazing bar inside the sealed unitInside the glassAluminium bars inside the sealed unit. Widths of 8, 18, 26 and 45 mm
Glazing bar bonded to the glassBondedBonded to the glass with a warm-edge or silver central spacer, in the sash colour

With external aluminium cladding the bars are aluminium outside and timber inside: less maintenance, with the warmth of wood indoors

Swisspacer Ultimate spacer

Alongside the standard aluminium spacer we offer a high-performance warm-edge spacer. It reduces condensation around the edge of the glass and measurably lowers heat transfer across the whole window
