1. Data controller
SKLO, UNIPESSOAL LDA, legal person no. PT517994577 (hereinafter “SKLO”, “we”), is the controller of the personal data collected through this website, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019.

2. Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to answer your request:
- Contact data: the name, phone number and email you give us in the forms.
- Project data: material, type of work, timeline, description and any files you choose to attach (drawings, photographs).
- Technical browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, source of the visit and campaign identifiers (UTM, gclid).
We do not collect special categories of data (health, beliefs, biometric data). Please do not include them in the messages you send us.

You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.
4. Recipients and processors
We do not sell or transfer your data. The following may have access, only as far as necessary and under a data processing agreement: the website hosting provider, the form-processing service that delivers requests to us by email, the measurement and advertising services listed in the cookies section and, where applicable, accountants and installation contractors involved in your project.
We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of the services above may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases the transfer relies on adequacy decisions (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, with additional security measures.
6. Retention periods
Quote requests that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months after the last contact. Customer data and documents of tax relevance: 10 years, as required by Portuguese law. Browsing data and cookies: as set out in section 8. Once these periods end, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access restricted to those who need it, passwords and backups. In the event of a data breach posing a high risk to your rights, we will notify the CNPD and, where required, the data subjects affected.
8. Cookies and tracking technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We use them so the site works correctly, to understand how it is used and — only with your consent — to measure how effective our advertising campaigns are.

8.2. Giving and withdrawing consent
On your first visit we show a notice where you can accept or refuse the statistics and advertising cookies together. Until you choose, none of them is activated: Google Consent Mode v2 is initialised with every storage signal denied, and the Meta Pixel is loaded only after you accept — before that no request is made to Meta’s servers. If you refuse, the site works normally and only essential cookies are used. Your choice is stored on your own device (localStorage), not in a third-party cookie.
You can change your decision at any time: reopen cookie preferences. You can also delete cookies already stored, from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all allow this in the privacy section).
8.3. Third parties with access to this data
When you accept the statistics and advertising cookies, browsing data may be processed by Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel), under their respective privacy policies. These transfers may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not share the name, phone number or email you send through the forms with third parties for advertising purposes.
8.4. Contact forms
Requests submitted on the site are delivered to our team by email through a form-processing service. The data you send is used solely to answer your request.
9. Your rights
As a data subject you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to info@sklo.pt. We reply within 30 days at most. We may ask for further details to confirm your identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Av. D. Carlos I, 134, 1.º, 1200-651 Lisbon, www.cnpd.pt.
10. Automated decisions and minors
We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing with legal effects on you, nor do we build profiles to that effect. The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data; if it happens, the data is deleted as soon as we become aware of it.
11. Links to third-party sites
This site may contain links to third-party pages (for example social networks, system manufacturers or Google Maps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; we recommend reading their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated whenever there are legal changes or changes in the services we use. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
13. Content generated by artificial intelligence
Some images, illustrations, technical renders and texts on this website were created or edited using artificial intelligence tools. We disclose this here in compliance with the transparency duty set out in Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the Artificial Intelligence Act).
This content is illustrative. Photographs of completed work, of manufacturing and of the team are real; where an image is generated or altered by artificial intelligence, it does not represent a specific project we delivered. The technical characteristics shown on the site come from manufacturers’ documentation and from our own proposals, and are not generated automatically.
We do not use artificial intelligence systems to take decisions about people, nor to build profiles. For clarification about the origin of any content, write to info@sklo.pt.
14. Rights in images and graphic materials
The images, technical renders and window-system profile sections published on this website are used with the authorisation of Eko-Okna S.A., holder of the respective rights. Reproducing them outside this website requires the rights holder’s authorisation.
15. Complaints and dispute resolution
You may submit a complaint in the electronic complaints book at livroreclamacoes.pt, under Decree-Law no. 156/2005.
In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body, under Law no. 144/2015. The up-to-date list of available bodies is published on the Consumer Portal at consumidor.gov.pt.
