Esperia Life 74 ALU
A contemporary window system with the shallowest installation depth in the whole Esperia Life range. The timber-aluminium profile and the option of thicker glazing give this product very high energy efficiency.

Technical characteristics
Reference figures for the system, measured in the laboratory and confirmed in our own production.
* Uw quoted for the 1230 × 1480 mm reference window with 4th/18Ar/4/18Ar/4th glazing in pine. FSC™-certified pine and oak available on request. The exact Uw for your opening depends on the dimensions, the timber species and the glazing chosen.

Choice of materials
Timber laminated in three or four layers is more stable than solid wood, does not move with humidity and allows arches and curved shapes.
Solid timberSolid pineNo visible joints, long sections free of natural defects, made for clear varnishes that show the grain
Finger-jointed laminateFinger-jointed pineDefect-free sections joined end to end by finger joints: maximum stability, ideal for opaque finishesSKLO technical note: above a 3 m opening, or with strong sun exposure, we recommend 80 mm laminate — the dimensional stability is worth the extra cost
Glazing bars
They give a window character and echo classical architecture. We choose the type according to the look you want and the energy performance required.

Inside the glassAluminium bars inside the sealed unit. Widths of 8, 18, 26 and 45 mm
BondedBonded to the glass with a warm-edge or silver central spacer, in the sash colourWith external aluminium cladding the bars are aluminium outside and timber inside — less maintenance, with the warmth of wood indoors
Available colours
Ten finish samples — nine shown in pine and one in raw meranti. The finish can be a stain, a RAL colour, clear lacquer or raw timber, and the full catalogue shows the palette on the other species we work with.

Raw merantiThermal performance
Uw de 0,8 W/m²K on the reference window with triple glazing. Accepts glazing units up to 48 mm (fixed lights 24–28 mm), and the sealing gaskets combined with the natural mass of timber also help to damp outside noise.
Applications
Facades exposed to sun and salt, where the aluminium cladding removes exterior maintenance without giving up timber indoors.
Finishes
Interior in pine, spruce, meranti or oak with a stain, RAL colour, clear lacquer or raw timber, and external aluminium cladding powder coated in any RAL colour, needing no maintenance.
