43 Timber Frames: Precision Engineering and Installation in 6 Days

In the heart of Braga, on the prestigious Avenida Central, stands the historic INATEL building, an eighteenth-century landmark. SKLO’s challenge was to carry out an invisible renovation: to replace every window of an office in full operation while the architectural soul of the façade stayed untouched and the interior gained a new life of comfort and quiet.

For this project we produced 43 timber windows from scratch, designed to replicate the original classical lines with absolute precision. The real innovation, however, is in what you do not see:

• German technology: Roto hardware gives smooth, precise and highly durable operation.
• Thermal and acoustic efficiency: laminated double glazing with Ug 1.0 W/m²K transformed the working environment, delivering superior thermal and acoustic insulation and maximum security.
• Executive logistics: respecting the institution’s rhythm, our team completed the entire removal and installation in just 6 working days, with complete discretion and efficiency.

We create contemporary comfort while preserving Portugal’s architectural history.
