Timber sliding systems
Natural timber sliding systems are the right choice for generous interiors where a large glazed area, a refined look and environmentally sound materials all matter.
Three HST lift-and-slide systems, 68 and 80 mm deep. Naturo in exposed timber; the ALU version adds an external aluminium cover for more exposed openings
The nobility of timber, the engineering of today
Timber is a living, warm and timeless material, and when properly worked it matches any system for insulation and durability. We combine high-stability laminated timber with high-performance Saint-Gobain glazing and European Roto and GU hardware.
Every unit receives four protective coats against moisture and UV, giving decades of service life with the authentic beauty of solid wood.
Timber species
We select the species according to use, exposure and the intended finish — from pale tones for clear varnishes to dense hardwoods for coastal locations.
PinhoEconomical and versatile, ideal for opaque finishes and interiors.
AbetoLight and stable with an even grain, excellent for pale lacquered finishes.
MerantiA dense tropical hardwood resistant to moisture, the first choice for coastal projects.
CarvalhoNoble and durable, with a pronounced grain for premium clear finishes.Profile section
We mostly use laminated timber bonded in three or four layers: it increases stability, prevents movement with humidity and allows arched and curved shapes.
Solid timberSolid pineNo visible joints, long sections free of natural defects, made for clear varnishes that show the grain.
Finger-jointed laminateFinger-jointed pineDefect-free sections joined end to end by finger joints: maximum stability, ideal for opaque finishes.SKLO technical note: for openings over 3 m, or with strong sun exposure, we recommend 80 mm laminate — the dimensional stability is well worth the extra cost.
Glazing bars
They give a window character and echo classical architecture. We choose the type according to the look you want and the energy performance required.

Inside the glassAluminium bars inside the sealed unit. Widths of 8, 18, 26 and 45 mm.
BondedBonded to the glass with a warm-edge or silver central spacer, in the sash colour. With external aluminium cladding the bars are aluminium outside and timber inside — less maintenance, with the warmth of wood indoors.

Swisspacer Ultimate spacer
Alongside the standard aluminium spacer we offer a high-performance warm-edge spacer. It reduces condensation around the edge of the glass and measurably lowers heat transfer across the whole window.
Available in a wide range of RAL colours to match the frame.
